Primary Fan Interest(s): Watching the movies on the couch with a blanket and some tea, dressing up as Princess Leia or Padme for events/charities, and just plain hanging out with my fellow Star Wars fans -- the comraderie!

What do you like most about being an SVRF member? The sense of belonging, and that they were my first tie outside of my family before I moved back to California, which made my move from Arkansas (after living there 7 years!) easier--emotionally.

FAVORITES

Favorite Episode: Attack of the Clones because of the budding courtship between Anakin and Padme and the gentleness Anakin displayed to Padme. When I first saw the trailer for it, I was in a bad relationship that left me resenting ALL men, and (at least) the image I saw reminded me that there are men out there who will treat me better than ???? did. Hayden Christensen had me before Attack of the Clones was over.

Favorite Star Wars Scene: The tender scenes between Anakin and Padme. Reason: See above.

Favorite Hero: Qui Gon Jin because of the gentleness he displayed to everyone.

Favorite Villain: Anakin after he turned, of course. He didn't lose his place in my heart so easily.

Favorite Bounty Hunter: Do I have to have one?

Favorite Droid: Do I have to have one?

Favorite Aliens: Do I have to have one?

FANBOYisms

What's your stance on the Extended Universe? As a Christian, I just take the story for what it's worth: wholesome entertainment about courage, loyalty, and good vs. evil.

Is Jar Jar Binks really that bad? He's ditsy, but he's a good guy. The important thing to me is that he was on the Light Side of The Force.

How many times have you bought the original trilogy on video? Maybe once or twice, I'm primarily interested in the new trilogy because of Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, and Hayden Christensen. That UN accent...it's almost as charming as that Australian accent!

OTHER

Favorite Non Star Wars movie: Anne of Green Gables/ Avonlea (do I have to pick just one?), Chronicles of Narnia, Groundhog Day, Adventures of Milo & Otis, and Gay Puree (with Judy Garland as voice of Mewsett)
