About Us
The Sacramento Valley Rogue Force are a group of Star Wars fans who express their love of George Lucas' movies come together through club meetings, pop culture events, charity work, creative projects, trips, and much more.
Spread out across California's Central Valley, the Rogues use Sacramento as a central base of operations. We are an official Fan Force chapter of The Force.Net, one of many around the world.
Previous Rogue attended events have been Wondercon, the Episode 3 Digital screening in San Francisco, and a tour of Steve Sansweet's private Star Wars museum, considered the largest in the world.
We also participate in a number of charity events. Helping others is a theme in the Star Wars saga, and it's important to us.
Of course through all of this, the key reasonis the chance to hang out with fellow fans and talk Star Wars without fear of rolling eyes from spouses, friends, co-workers, and pets. Fanboys and girls, you're place to geek out is here!
However while we embrace the child in all of us, membership in the Rogues requires everyone to treat each other in an adult, courteous manner. Outright persecution (as opposed to harmless ribbing) of a fellow member is not tolerated in either the club or on our messageboard and will be swiftly dealt with Grand Moff Tarkin style.
Accordingly, we accept all facets of human life even those with cybernetic limbs chopped off by beams of pure energy.
Episode 3 has completed the circle of movies, but don't think for a second Star Wars is going away. Like point of view challenged desert hermits, Star Wars will never die.
May the Force be with you, and you, and you, and you, and .......
